Privacy Policy for SDLockBox Cloud Storage
Introduction

SDLockBox ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of your data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle data and the measures we take to ensure the safety and reliability of our cloud storage product infrastructure and applications within the SDLockBox App Suite.

Hosting and Infrastructure

SDLockBox does not host any product systems or data within its physical offices. Instead, we outsource the hosting of our cloud storage product infrastructure to industry-leading cloud infrastructure providers, including:

Google Cloud Platform Services (GCP):

Google provides a monthly uptime percentage to customers of at least 99.5%. More details about Google’s controls, processes, and compliance measures can be found at their publicly available Compliance Resource Center.

Amazon Web Services (AWS):

AWS guarantees between 99.95% and 100% service reliability, ensuring redundancy for power, network, and HVAC services. AWS’s business continuity and disaster recovery plans have been independently validated as part of their SOC 2 Type 2 report and ISO 27001 certification.Compliance documentation and audit reports for AWS are publicly available at the AWS Cloud Compliance Page.

All SDLockBox product infrastructure resides within the United States. We rely on the audited security and compliance programs of GCP and AWS to ensure the efficacy of their physical, environmental, and infrastructure security controls.

Decentralized Data in the SDLockBox App Suite

All applications within the SDLockBox App Suite are designed to decentralize user data by ensuring that data entered into any of the apps is stored exclusively on the user’s local device. This approach ensures that:

Complete Control & Data Sovereignty:

Users retain full control over their data at all times. App data in the full SdLockBox App Suite is not stored on any external servers, cloud systems, or other external locations.

Enhanced Privacy:

Brave Legacy Community & The SDLockBox Drive does not collect, store, or access any data entered into the SDLockBox App Suite. As a result, app data within the SDLockBox App Suite is not stored anywhere else on earth beyond the user’s local device.
